About the Department
“Economics is everywhere and understanding economic can help you make better decision and led a happier life”.– Tyler Cowen. The Department of Economics is one of the largest departments in R.K.Talreja College which caters to the faculties Arts and Commerce in both the mediums English as well as Marathi from F.Y. to Post Graduate level, right from the beginning when the college was established in 1961. We provide specialization in economics at undergraduate and post graduate level. We keep our students engaged in various curricular and extracurricular activities like Fresher’s Party, Orientation Programme for students, Visits to industries, Agricultural fields as well as various institutions like RBI, Monetary Museum, and Nature’s Park etc. We also organize Debate, Essay, Elocution, Poster competitions etc. The department organizes special guidance lectures by renowned personalities from different walks of life, which enables students to prepare for their life and various competitive examinations.
